ABOUT OUR FAMILY We're a family in Clarkson, Mississauga, looking for a warm, reliable and organized house manager/nanny to help care for our home and our two young children. At the start of the role, our daughter will be three and our son will be one.

We're hoping to build a long

- term relationship with someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys keeping a household organized and running smoothly, and provides kind, attentive care to children.

THE ROLE This position has a strong emphasis on household management.

Both children will attend school/daycare for most of the day, so we anticipate approximately 70%of the role will involve household responsibilities and 30% will involve childcare.
We want to be clear about this balance so we can find someone who genuinely enjoys both parts of the position.
Daily cleaning, family laundry, organizing and meal preparation will be central responsibilities.
The household work will extend throughout the home and will not be limited to light housekeeping or tasks related to the children.
We value both excellent care for our children and thoughtful care for our home.

Someone with experience in housekeeping or household management, alongside childcare experience, could be a wonderful fit.

HOUSEHOLD RESPONSIBILITIES We're looking for support with:

- Daily cleaning and general tidying to keep the home clean, comfortable and well maintained.
- Regular household cleaning, including bathrooms, kitchen surfaces, dusting, vacuuming and mopping, on an agreed schedule.
- Family laundry, including washing, drying, folding and putting clothing away.
- Washing and changing bed linens and towels.
- Keeping the kitchen tidy, including dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher.
- Organizing toys, closets, cupboards and other frequently used spaces.




- Helping maintain practical household routines and organization systems.
- Meal planning and preparation, including preparing family meals and children's snacks.
- Helping with grocery lists, monitoring household supplies and occasional errands, as agreed.
- Noticing routine tasks that need attention and taking initiative once familiar with our household and preferences.

We would work together to establish clear priorities and a realistic daily and weekly schedule.

CHILDCARE RESPONSIBILITIES The childcare portion of the role would primarily involve helping around school/daycare hours, including:

- School/daycare pickups and potentially drop-offs, depending on the agreed schedule.
- Providing safe, attentive and engaging care before or after school/daycare.
- Preparing snacks and meals and helping with the children's routines.
- Planning age-appropriate play, reading, outdoor time and activities.
- Keeping us informed about the children's day and any concerns.

There may also be days when childcare needs are greater, such as school closures or when a child is home.

We would discuss expectations for those situations together.

Whenever the children are in your care, their safety and needs would take priority, and household expectations would adjust accordingly.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR Our ideal candidate is:

- Warm, patient and confident caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children.




- Comfortable with a role where most of the day is focused on cleaning and household responsibilities.
- Experienced in housekeeping, household management or a similar combined role.
- Reliable, punctual, trustworthy and organized.
- Proactive and able to work independently while following our family's preferences.
- Comfortable preparing everyday family meals and following food-allergy precautions.
- A explicit, respectful communicator who welcomes open conversations and feedback.
- Comfortable around our large, friendly Goldendoodle.
- Interested in a consistent, long-term position.

We would also like relevant references, a current police/background check, and current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain these before starting.

SCHEDULE AND START DATE We're looking for someone to start around January or February 2027.
We are leaning towards a full-time role, with some flexibility on schedule.
The exact hours would be agreed together Compensation will be discussed based on experience, the agreed responsibilities and hours.
