Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Peel Region, Ontario Engagement Type: Independent Contractor About The Opportunity Polaron Comfort Corp. is looking for qualified and experienced HVAC Technicians to join our growing network of independent contractors. With a high volume of installation opportunities available across the GTA and Peel Region, this is an excellent prospect for technicians looking for consistent work and the flexibility of an independent contractor arrangement. Responsibilities
• Complete residential HVAC installations, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and other related equipment, as assigned.
• Ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform equipment installations, replacements, and related HVAC work based on customer requirements and scheduled jobs.
• Ensure all work meets Polaron Comfort Corp.'s quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and coordinate installation schedules as needed.
• Supply and maintain the tools, equipment, and transportation necessary to complete assigned jobs.
• Maintain accurate job records and provide any required installation documentation.
• Identify and communicate any installation issues, deficiencies, or additional work requirements.
• Maintain all required certifications, registrations, insurance, and safety documentation throughout the engagement. Required Qualifications & Requirements
• TSSA Certification: Must hold the applicable TSSA certification required to perform the assigned HVAC work.
• G2 Gas Technician Licence: Must hold a valid G2 licence in good standing.
• WSIB Coverage:



Must maintain applicable WSIB coverage or provide confirmation of the appropriate exemption, where permitted.
• Liability Insurance: Must carry valid commercial general liability insurance appropriate for the work being performed and provide proof of coverage upon request.
• Reliable Transportation: Must have a personal vehicle suitable for travelling to job sites throughout the GTA and Peel Region.
• Tools & Equipment: Must supply the tools and equipment necessary to complete assigned installations.

Experience:
Previous experience with residential HVAC installations is required.
• Regulatory Compliance: Must be familiar with applicable Ontario building codes, gas safety regulations, and HVAC installation requirements.
• Professionalism: Must demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, strong workmanship, and professional customer service.
