Role Description The Dishwasher is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON. In this role, the Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using established procedures and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include operating dishwashing machines, hand-washing items as needed, organizing clean items in designated storage areas, and maintaining cleanliness in the dishwashing and back-of-house areas. The role also includes assisting with basic food preparation tasks when required, removing trash and recyclables, and supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.



The Dishwasher works closely with other staff members, follows health and safety guidelines, and helps maintain a reliable and efficient kitchen environment. Qualifications
• Robust Dishwashing skills, including operating dish machines and hand-washing items, with attention to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Basic Food Preparation and Cooking skills to assist the kitchen team when needed.
• Effective Communication skills to coordinate with coworkers and respond to requests during busy periods.
• Commitment to Customer Satisfaction by supporting a clean, efficient operation that contributes to a positive guest experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry dish racks or supplies, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn food safety and hygiene practices, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to keeping work areas clean and organized.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
