Israel Foulon Wong LLP is currently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our firm. We are an established employment and labour boutique firm with a reputation for excellence.

a congenial work environment, competitive salary and advantages commensurate with experience. This position is hybrid, requiring 3 days in office and 2 days remote. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
• Drafting, proof-reading and sending correspondence and court documents;
• Serving and filing court documents with various administrative Tribunals and Courts (OLRB, Superior Court, Small Claims, HRTO);
• Corresponding with other parties and clients in a timely and skilled manner;
• Maintaining schedules and booking phone/Zoom appointments;
• Diarization of significant dates, deadlines and appearances, and maintaining a bring forward system to ensure dates are adhered to;
• Occasional opening and closing of files; and
• Filing. REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a law office, preferably in civil litigation;
• Completion of a College Diploma in the legal field (exp.



Law Clerk’s Diploma or ILCO designation);
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions with minimal supervision and take initiative as required;
• Excellent organizational skills;
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, grammar, spelling and proofreading skills;
• Highly dependable and able to meet multiple deadlines while working independently;
• Excellent keyboarding skills with proficiency in MS Office applications; and
