Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) at Dundas Manor demonstrate the core competencies of nursing practice and work to their full scope in the provision of resident care. RPNs work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team and foster a team approach to meeting the complex needs of long-term care residents. As key members of the care team, RPNs play an key leadership role in delivering quality care to seniors. Responsibilities include medication administration, comprehensive resident assessments, analysis of health information, care planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to promote restorative nursing outcomes and achieve individualized resident care goals. Minimum Qualifications
• Current registration and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
• Excellent care planning and assessment skills
• Knowledge of common chronic illnesses and their management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of CNO documentation standards
• Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Point of Care (POC)
• Completion of GPA, LEAP, PIECES,



or similar training
• Knowledge of restorative nursing practices
• IV therapy experience
• RNAO Champion designation considered an asset
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across the continuum of care
• Ability to teach, mentor, and support team members
• Demonstrated knowledge, skill, and judgment to safely administer medications Employment Details Position Type: Casual, with the opportunity to transition to a part-time position as Dundas Manor expands into its new 128-bed home, anticipated January 2027. Pay: $29.13
- $36.58 per hour. There is an increase in January 2027, Pay will become $30.00-$37.68 per hour. Documented proof of previous RPN experience will be recognized and compensated according to the Dundas Manor wage grid. Benefits
