Here's a unique opportunity for the outdoors type. It's a live-in role from May to Oct at a gorgeous little tourist camp (2.5 acres) with 8 kitchen-equipped lakefront cabins (and 1 campsite) on Lake of the Woods, just off the highway and on the power grid near Nestor Falls, ON.

The job includes hosting fish fries; coordinating guest reservations, boat rentals, check-ins/outs, 3rd party guides and cleaning lady (your wife, perhaps?); doing minor R&M; to land, boats, docks, buildings and infrastructure in support of guest fishermen, hunters and other tourists' accommodations. Additional opportunities are available via occasional guiding, winter marketing campaigns in the US, year-round operations and small to mid-size construction projects - as able. Pay and work schedule are negotiable.

Critical skills include customer relations, communication & organization, tiller boat trailering / operations, and some handyman skills such as painting, landscaping, small motors, minor plumbing and/or carpentry. A passion for lake life - camping, freshwater fishing, hunting,



boating and evening socializing - would be an obvious asset but no direct hospitality experience is required as training & support are locally available (this is not my only camp). Fluent western English, reasonable physical fitness and a drivers license are required.

The role is central to the camp's integrity, so I'm looking for a mature, reliable and professional guy with no criminal record or chemical dependencies. Ideal for the semi-retired, married couple, or someone interested in a career as an outfitter with room for growth.
