Preschool Leave Replacement Teacher (PreK)
Position available at an elementary school in a PreK Classroom
- Replacement for teacher on a leave of absence
- Length of positions may vary
- Successful clearance of criminal history
- All Substitutes must be BOE approved
Requirements:
- New Jersey Instructional Certificate: Early Childhood Education P-3 (CEAS, CE, Provisional, or Standard)
- Knowledge/experience with NJ Preschool Teaching & Learning Standards
- Knowledge/experience with best practices in early childhood education
- Ability to work collaboratively with families, grade level teachers, and school/district administration
- Desire to provide students with early learning opportunities in the areas of mathematics and literacy
- Experience with Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching (a plus)
- Bilingual (a plus)
Effective:
- 2026- 2027 School Year
- Anticipated start date January 4, 2027
Salary:
- Days 1-20 - $130.00 a day

Benefits: Leave replacement teachers receive benefits after 5 consecutive months of working (single health benefits)
In addition to the base salary, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package: including medical/vision, prescription and dental insurance, and paid time off.
