The successful candidate will work collaboratively with residents families nursing staff and the interdisciplinary care team to enhance residents functional abilities mobility independence and overall quality of life. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments of residents physical functional and mobility implement and evaluate individualized treatment therapeutic interventions aimed at improving strength balance mobility endurance and activities of daily adaptive equipment mobility aids and environmental modifications as with physicians nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to support resident-centred residents families and staff on rehabilitation strategies and safe mobility accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and organizational in interdisciplinary care conferences and quality improvement Occupational Therapists:Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited registration and positive standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).For Physiotherapists:Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited registration and good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience working in long-term care assisted living or assessment treatment planning and communication to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary CPR/BLS liability insurance as required by the applicable regulatory & CompetenciesResident-centred approach to interpersonal and organizational clinical reasoning and problem-solving to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize competing Join UsFlexible contract interdisciplinary to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of apply please submit your resume and proof of professional registration.
