- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling/lift gate as needed
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule and in accordance with company policies
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
- Communicate effectively with office/shipping staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory and organizing shipments
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation
Requirements :
- Valid Class 5 license with a clean driving record
- Experience with commercial driving, and knowledge of local routes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers
- Steel Toed Boots Mandatory (all other PPE will be provided by employer)
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment
Job Types : Full time, Seasonal Contract length: 7-8 months
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
