Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care. Create a welcoming and supportive environment for residents through teamwork and effective communication with staff. Oversee resident care, including regular communication with residents and their families, and provide guidance to staff. Supervise the Personal Support Workers/Unregulated team members assigned to the unit. Handle admission, readmission, and change in status, and provide ongoing assessment of residents. Who You AreA Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses. Has experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, and/or senior health industry is an asset. Exhibits good judgement, risk identification ability, and fosters a positive work environment. Legally eligible to work in Canada or has a valid work permit.
