$140,000 Production Manager - Desserts - St-Laurent (100% Onsite, Starting 6AM)

A growing food manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on $140,000 Production Manager to oversee daily operations, lead production teams, and drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader to work directly with the executive team and grow into a senior executive role.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of production supervision or management experience in food manufacturing or a regulated environment.
- Availability to work on-site with an early start time between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
- Strong spoken and written French and English.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality standards.
- Proven leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with production KPIs, scheduling, and reporting tools such as Excel or ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily production schedules, staffing, output, and operational KPIs.
- Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and operators.




- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, GMP, HACCP, allergen control, and health and safety standards.
- Monitor production performance, minimize waste and downtime, and improve productivity and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with planning, quality assurance, warehouse, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support audits and corrective actions.
- Communicate production results, priorities, and challenges to senior management.
