Role Description The Sales Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Metro Vancouver A, BC, responsible for preparing accurate quotations and supporting the sales process for glazing projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing drawings and specifications, performing material and labor take-offs, and developing detailed cost estimates for commercial and residential projects. The role involves communicating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to clarify project requirements, answer questions, and adjust estimates as needed. The Sales Estimator will follow up on proposals, support negotiations,



and track opportunities in coordination with the sales team. This role also requires maintaining organized records of estimates, monitoring project margins, and providing input to improve pricing strategies and bid success rates.

Qualifications

- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to engage professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Proven Sales and Business Development abilities to support proposal follow-up, opportunity tracking, and growth of client relationships.
- Demonstrated Project Estimation experience, ideally in glazing, construction, or a related field, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Proficiency with estimation and office software (e.g., Excel, estimating tools, CRM systems).
- Robust numerical, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines.
- Experience in the glazing, construction, or building materials industry is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in construction technology, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
