Job Summary
At Revolution Ford, we are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Automotive Service Manager to oversee daily operations at our dealership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and dealership management, with excellent leadership and communication skills. This role involves managing service department activities, ensuring high-quality customer service, and driving sales through upselling and effective team management. The Automotive Service Manager will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

Department Leadership

· Manage the Service Department to achieve sales, profit, and efficiency targets

· Direct and schedule daily activities service staff to ensure adequate service coverage

· Provide coaching, mentoring, guidance, and support team performance

· Conduct annual one-on-one performance evaluations

· Lead regular department meetings to review goals, results, and team feedback

· Establish clear processes and operational standards to ensure staff follow compan

policies, safety regulations, and industry standards

Customer Experience & Quality Control

· Ensure high-quality service and repairs are delivered to every customer

· Review completed repair orders for quality control

· Handle customer inquiries and escalated concerns professionally and effectively

· Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and growth

Operational Oversight





· Control department costs while maximizing productivity

· Support marketing initiatives and service retention strategies

· Oversee shipping and receiving of parts

· Ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturer standards, and directives

· Maintain adherence to health and safety regulations

· Perform additional duties as required to support dealership operations

Experience /Requirements

- Proven experience in dealership service departments or automotive repair shops. Previous automotive experience is mandatory. Applicants without experience will not be considered.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role within an automotive setting is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Knowledge of automotive sales techniques, including upselling of services and parts
- Valid driver's license with clean driver abstract
- Dealership experience is highly desirable but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates with relevant automotive background
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
