Support Introduction to Computing II through Java and data structures at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus, working in person. English is the language of work.

This Teaching Assistant position serves section A of ITI1121 during the 2027 Winter Semester. You will prepare weekly laboratories and tutorials, support students, and help update course labs in HTML using existing English versions. Strong Java expertise, graphical user interface design, and English writing are central to the assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and give weekly laboratories and tutorials
- Correct assignments and complete related duties
- Hold weekly office hours and provide email support
- Proctor midterm and final examinations
- Prepare and update course laboratories in HTML

Requirements:

- Advanced experience with object oriented programming in Java
- Excellent knowledge of list, stack, queue, and tree structures
- Excellent command of Java and its libraries
- Experience designing graphical user interfaces
- Solid English writing skills and good English comprehension
