This HVAC Technician position handles heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and Energy Management Control Systems. You will analyze blueprints, diagnose failures, estimate materials, and coordinate with supervisors and other trades. The work supports indoor air quality, thermal comfort, and compliant building operations through corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze blueprints, schematics, and drawings for HVAC system locations

Diagnose HVAC and control system failures and repair needs

Install, repair, maintain, and upgrade HVAC equipment





Prioritize work orders and respond to emergency situations

Maintain repair histories, work orders, and test reports

Requirements:

Job-related experience within a specialized field

Grade 12 diploma or academic equivalent through an educational program

Two years training in a related technical trade

Four years related experience in building controls and HVAC maintenance

Valid driver’s license and EPA Freon capture certification
