We are seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to support our Human Resources team by focusing on supporting the staff recruitment requirements of NACG’s companies. The succsessful candidate in this position will be an all-star in filling multiple site vacancies by providing recruitment support to the business, assisting primarily with union craft recruitment activities and responding to general human-resources related inquiries. Participate in the development and implementation of creative recruitment strategies.
Source qualified candidates to fill current and upcoming openings by determining best method(s) for recruiting.
Provide qualified candidate pool by sourcing, identifying and recruiting candidates to fill current and upcoming trade job openings.
Develop an understanding of current and future manpower needs, research best practices and emerging trends and anticipate and react to shortages.
Review and evaluate candidates’ work history, education, training and other qualifications to meet the Company’s qualifications. Ensure policies, guidelines and practices are followed and communicated to candidates and hiring managers as is appropriate.
Represent the company at talent management or human resources-related events.
Other ad-hoc responsibilities which provide human resources support to the business.
University Degree in human resources or College Diploma in human resources-related field preferred.
One to two years’ experience related to recruitment and selection of similar positions.
Experience with an Applicant Tracking System.




Industry experience considered an asset.
Thorough knowledge of recruitment and selection practices and theories.
Knowledge of human behavior and performance; proactive approach to recruiting and projects.
Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office suite.
