This executive-level position leads the tax team at a growing accounting firm. You will oversee Canadian federal and provincial compliance, tax filings, and planning. The work includes client advisory, tax issue investigation, team leadership, and creative solutions across domestic tax assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate processes and develop proactive tax strategies

Address complex Canadian tax issues for clients

Lead domestic tax projects and quality control

Review corporate, trust, and estate tax returns

Liaise with Canada Revenue Agency and ministries

Requirements:

Complete the in-depth Tax Program and specialist courses

Bring 10+ years of public accounting or tax consulting experience

Demonstrate extensive Canadian Tax knowledge

Show proven people management and leadership skills

Use Microsoft Office, Excel pivot tables, and v-lookups proficiently

Apply Canadian tax expertise, strategic planning, and leadership to guide clients and domestic tax teams.
