Provide specialized geriatric nursing care at Baycrest Hospital across rehabilitation, complex continuing care, and other clinical programs. Apply sound assessment skills and clinical judgment. This temporary full-time Registered Nurse chance supports the Nursing Resource Team and Complex Continuing Care Unit 5 East. Nurses provide care for older patients with complex medical conditions and varying care needs. The work requires adaptability, organization, and strong collaboration across interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess clients and families from admission through discharge

Plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing interventions

Administer medications and treatments within RN scope

Provide interdisciplinary, client-centred care

Support personal, activation, recreation, and spiritual needs

Requirements:

Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration in good standing

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C and AED certificate

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

Previous geriatric experience preferred

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
