This is a full-time in office role for an Investment Associate located in Langley, BC. The Investment Associate is a direct assistant to a team of portfolio managers. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A solid ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this role. Experience in financial planning or investment is a plus.Key Responsibilities:Process account opening documentsHold client onboarding and ongoing service meetingsReview documents in advance of meetingsWork with online systems to upload documents to custodiansProcess trades in client accounts and fund custodian accountsService client accounts,



including email inquiries and hold review meetingsLiaise with compliance and account services team membersLook for issues before they escalate and implement solutionsMaintain client relationships and get to know clientsProvide operational support, including ad hoc administrative supportQualifications & Experience:Great attention to detailPassion for client service with a lot of patienceStrong financial planning background and knowledge is a plusComfortable with technology and softwareEnjoys helping othersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is a plus but not a requirementAbility to work towards an advising representative registration or equivalent (portfolio manager)
