This technician position supports advanced automotive and motorsport applications through composite manufacturing. You will develop skills in laminating, vacuum-bagging, autoclaves, molds, structural bonding, and carbon fiber layups. The work includes training in composite components, substructures, skins, and honeycomb cores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Laminate and vacuum-bag carbon fiber and composite materials
- Train with autoclaves and ovens for curing
- Build and assemble composite components and substructures
- Cut, trim, bond, and finish composite parts
- Maintain quality, safety, and organized work areas
Requirements:
- Comfort using sanders, grinders, cutters, drills, and scissors
- Willingness to learn drawings and detailed instructions
- Motivation for hands-on problem-solving and skill development
- Basic computer knowledge and safety-focused work habits
- Interest in motorsport-related composite components
