They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals.Those in deal integration and valuation realisation at Pw C will focus on assisting clients in successfully integrating acquisitions and maximising the value of their investments. You will be responsible for conducting valuations, financial analysis, and developing strategies for post-merger integration.The Opportunity As a Deal and Value Creation Analytics member, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Supporting high profile analytics projects showcasing the drivers and equity story of a business either to management or to bidders to increase deal confidenceSupporting analytics projects to arm management with data driven insights to enable fact-based decision making and drive value within the businessBringing structure and clarity to complex problems and business scenarios within tight deadlinesUsing your technical know-how and translating this for our non-technical stakeholders to support robust, evidence-based decisionsReviewing & creating reports and presentations and translating our findings to technical and non-technical stakeholdersWorking with our Global Data Analytics community to further enhance our analytics propositionBuilding and developing strong relationships at all levels both internally and externallySupporting business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clientMost importantly, we need you to become a business partner and strategic advisor to our clients, translating and communicating your analysis to help answer critical commercial questions.What You'll Bring Experience integrating disparate data sources and structuring, cleansing, and transforming data using tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Python, Databricks, or Power QueryExperience working in cloud-based data environments, including AWS or Azure, with an understanding of data architectures and scalable analytics workflowsWorking knowledge of AI platforms such as GPT, Claude, and coding agents like Git Hub Copilot or Claude CodeExperience applying prompt engineering best practices to drive high quality, reliable outputs for analysis, content generation, and workflow automationProfessional experience, ideally in management consulting focused on finance and analytics or in Corporate Development or M&A (e.G. Private Equity)Intermediate to advance proficiency with ExcelExperience with financial modelling and business case development would be considered an asset, including exposure to integrated financial models, forecasting, scenario and sensitivity analysis, KPI driver trees, and investment case support.Technically minded and driven by solving complex problems. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for Pw C locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At Pw C Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
