Together we are searching for a Field Technician for their team in Vancouver BC. Field Technicians perform service and repairs on material handling equipment to ensure it continues to run according to manufacturer’s specifications. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting with strong potential for future growth and career advancement.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair electric motors, transmissions, drive axles, differentials, hydraulic systems, brake systems, steering systems, electrical systems, lifting systems, etc.Rebuild and/or repair all components and systemsProperly block, chock and chain equipment,



and disassemble equipment as needed to facilitate major component removal and repairPerform routine and operational maintenance to all equipment according to manufacturer’s specificationsPerform diagnostic troubleshooting and failure analysisPerform equipment inspectionsRecord maintenance and repair work completing necessary paperwork in a timely mannerComplete basic and advanced technical training as assignedMaintain parts and supplies needed for job completionMaintain work area cleanliness and ensure shop remains a safe working environmentMaintain a culture of safety & participate in all safety meetingsPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsThorough knowledge of all equipment & operations that apply to the branchExcellent mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge and problem solving skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsOwn toolsExperience/Education:High school diploma or GED equivalent requiredMechanical or trade school certificate preferred3+ years’ experience in forklift repair or related industryAbility to read precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges,Salary Negotiable.Full Benefits packageMonday to Friday with some Over-TimeCompany Vehicle to take homeFuture growth and career advancement.#J-18808-Ljbffr
