As a Senior Project Manager, Technology Portfolio, you will lead some of West Jet's most important initiatives across technology, enterprise, and business functions. You will work at the intersection of strategy, and technology, delivering projects that create measurable value for our guests, our people, and the business.Overview Of The Role Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technology Portfolio & Planning, the Senior Project Manager leads the planning, coordination, and delivery of medium to large, cross-functional projects, including technology implementations, enterprise initiatives, and business-led change. You will take work from approved intake through delivery and handover, applying West Jet's project delivery framework and governance gates, while keeping scope, schedule, budget, and resources aligned to the approved business case.Success in this role requires strong delivery discipline, transparent communication with executives, and the ability to bring people together around a common objective in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of technology, enterprise, and cross-functional projects through the project lifecycle and governance gatesDevelop and manage integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical pathsOwn project scope, budget, and resource plans; manage change control and forecast accurately with FinancePartner with business sponsors, technology teams, architects, vendors, and operational groups to align priorities and drive executionFacilitate steering committees, stage-gate reviews, and decision forums with clear recommendationsIdentify, elevate, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies across multiple workstreamsMonitor project health and benefits realization; report status, variances,



and outcomes to the portfolio and senior leadershipSupport change management and operational readiness to ensure successful adoption and handoverProvide leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams and contributorsContribute to continuous improvement of West Jet's delivery methodology, templates, and toolsExperience & Qualifications Required Qualifications 8+ years of progressive experience leading large-scale projects or programs, including technology deliveryProven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholder groupsStrong command of project management practices: scope, schedule, budget, resource, governance, and risk managementProficiency with project and portfolio tools (e.G., MS Project, Planner, Jira, or similar)Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skillsExperience working with and influencing executive leadershipAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's degree in business, Technology, or a related fieldPMP, Agile, Scrum, Lean, or related certificationPreferred Qualifications Experience delivering technology-enabled business transformation, including systems implementation and digital platformsExperience delivering both Waterfall and Agile/hybrid projectsAirline, travel, hospitality, retail, or other service-industry experienceExperience within a PMO or portfolio governance environment, including stage gates and funding approvalsExperience in large, complex organizations undergoing enterprise changeWho You Are You are a strategic thinker who can connect big-picture objectives with practical execution plans.
