Our client, in the Produce Distribution industry is seeking a Light Packer to join their team in Richmond, BC. As a Light Packer, you will be part of the Production and Distribution team, supporting smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with repetitive work, able to lift and handle products safely, and ready to communicate clearly with the team to keep production moving.

Job Title: Light Packer

Pay Range: $18.25

Shift: 9am to 5pm ( processor starts at 9:00 a.m.; availability to work Saturday shift required; Sunday and 1 weekday off)

What's the Job?

- Perform repetitive lifting of up to 50+ lbs. (approximately 70% of the role)
- Palletize and organize finished products, and process raw materials using food processing machinery
- Monitor product quality carefully to help ensure food safety, quality,



and legality requirements are met
- Support product changeovers (clean breaks) at various workstations
- Assist the supervisor with preparing production records and follow Sysco's Food Safety Policy and procedures

What's Needed?

- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Experience working in a warehouse environment
- Valuable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to perform repetitive motions while lifting objects from ground level or above
- CSA-approved boots
