As a Multi-Skilled Worker, you will maintain residents’ rooms and common areas while supporting kitchen and dining operations. Duties include food preparation, meal service, tray delivery, dishwashing, and setup or cleanup. The position requires following health and safety guidelines, reporting injuries and hazards, and responding to reasonable management requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen cleanliness
- Set up and clean chairs and tables
- Serve meals and deliver trays to residents
- Wash dishes and follow safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
- Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
- Healthcare or long-term care experience is preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Positive written and verbal English communication skills
