Provide person-centered nursing care at AgeCare Dawson in Chestermere using clinical assessments and medication administration. This regular part time position is 0.40 FTE.
AgeCare seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse reporting to the Director of Care. The LPN provides planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed care for residents and families. Responsibilities include documentation, care planning, resident transfers, and inter-professional teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct resident care using a person-centered approach
- Complete accurate clinical assessments, plans, and documentation
- Implement and evaluate care/service plans as required
- Administer medications and treatments following applicable standards
- Support resident move-ins, move-outs, and transfers
Requirements:
- Practical Nurse Diploma
- Current provincial registration and membership in good standing
- Three-plus years of seniors’ health experience
- Current CPR training
- Microsoft Office experience and computer proficiency
