ObjectiveThe Cloud & Security Administrator is the senior technical authority responsible for cloud platforms, identity, security tooling, and risk bearing systems. This role owns security posture, Saa S governance, disaster recovery and cloud operations, with an emphasis on prevention, standardization, and long term stability.ResponsibilitiesCloud Platforms & Saa SDesign, implement and administer security controls in Azure, Microsoft 365, and Saa S platforms (EDR, device compliance, policies)Ensure secure configuration, availability, and scalability of cloud servicesSupport cloud related incidents and outagesIdentity & Access ManagementSupport hybrid identity environments and cloud integrationsPerform and own periodic access reviewsEnforce identity standards and privileged access controls (LAPS, g MSAs)Act as escalation point for identity related incidentsSecurity OperationsOwn and administer security tooling (EDR, SIEM, MDR, etc.)Monitor and lead response for security related incidentsCoordinate containment, recovery, and technical remediationLead general security reviews (firewalls, segmentation, VPNs, ZT, least-privilege initiatives)Projects & ArchitectureServe as technical owner for data protection, backup, security, and disaster recovery strategiesDefine and implement architecture aligned with approved standardsVendor & Licensing ManagementHandle technical vendor coordinationTrack corporate license utilization and renewal timing risksEnsure licensing aligns with security and compliance requirementsGovernance, Risk & ImprovementHelp define, enforce and operationalize security standards and best practicesContribute to security roadmaps and risk reduction initiativesLead technical responses to audits and compliance reviewsDocumentation and process improvementProduce and maintain architectural, security,



and operational documentationContribute to SOPs and standards evolutionRequired QualificationsExperience & Background5–8+ years of progressive experience in cloud, identity, and security-focused infrastructure rolesProven experience operating as a senior individual contributor or technical owner in a hybrid (on‑prem + cloud) environmentDemonstrated responsibility for risk-bearing systems and production environmentsTechnical ExpertiseStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID (Azure AD)Deep understanding of identity and access management concepts (RBAC, conditional access, privileged access, access reviews)Experience administering and responding to security tooling such as EDR, SIEM, MDR, and vulnerability management platformsPractical knowledge of security fundamentals including:Least privilege and zero trust principlesNetwork security (firewalls, VPNs, segmentation)Backup, disaster recovery, and data protection strategiesFamiliarity with hybrid identity components such as AD, LAPS, g MSAs, and directory integrationsOperational & Soft SkillsStrong incident response mindset with the ability to lead during security or cloud-impacting eventsComfortable operating autonomously within defined standards and governanceAble to translate technical risk into explicit, actionable recommendationsStrong documentation discipline and ability to maintain architectural and operational recordsExcellent analytical and critical thinking skillsStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to multitask and function in a fast-paced, high-energy environmentBackground in Cybersecurity is an assetBilingual in French and English (spoken and written). - Due to the nature of the position and regular interactions with customers, business partners, and/or colleagues outside of Quebec, fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) is required to ensure effective communication and high-quality service.#J-18808-Ljbffr
