Lead automotive diagnostics and repairs as a Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician at Kal Tire’s Whitehorse, Yukon store. This full time permanent position covers passenger vehicles and light-duty fleets.

Kal Tire seeks a fully licensed Automotive Service Technician, Journeyperson, Journeyman, or Red Seal certified. You will perform mechanical services across compact cars, domestic vehicles, standard passenger cars, and light trucks. The work includes brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, inspections, adjustments, servicing, and routine maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform brake, suspension, engine diagnostic, and maintenance services
- Inspect, adjust, service, and repair various vehicles
- Mentor apprentices and support their skill development




- Collaborate with the skilled automotive service team
- Identify service opportunities with the Sales team

Requirements:

- Fully licensed Automotive Service Technician certification
- Journeyperson, Journeyman, or Red Seal certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum three years’ hands-on automotive experience
- Experience with brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments
