General Description:The Senior Accountant reports directly to the Senior Director of Finance and is responsible for performing a variety of financial functions. Responsibilities include Monthly, Quarterly and Year-end Financial Reporting and Audits, Cash Flow Analysis and Treasury, Government remittances and correspondence, and other Financial duties as assigned.Job Duties:Management of finance functionsPreparation of actual Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly, P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow StatementsSupport during yearly budget (P&L, BS and cash flow)



and rolling forecastSupport during yearly auditsProfitability analysis by customer/serviceManufacturing cost analysis by plant/serviceMaintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processesTimely production of statutory and internal financial reportsCash management and treasury dutiesPrepared and file monthly government remittance including GST, PST, corporate tax installments, source deductions and Work Protected BC.Requirements:At least 5+ years' experience in similar positionMust have a Canadian CPA, CA/CGA/CMA professional accounting designationStrong knowledge SAP-B1 and high knowledge Excel is a must.Strong financial analytical mindset experienceFlexible and result orientated* This is a six (6) month contract that may lead to permanent. Compensation commensurate with experience. Position location: Vancouver Island.
