Support pupils with complex learning difficulties as a Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisor across Richmond Hill School’s East and West sites. Use communication and leadership skills daily.

This permanent position combines classroom assistance with covering classes using provided planning. Richmond Hill School supports primary pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties, including autism. You will contribute across the curriculum while helping children learn and make progress. Knowledge of special needs is useful, with induction and training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist pupils across all aspects of the curriculum
- Support children’s learning, progress, communication, and independence




- Cover classes using planning provided by the school
- Celebrate pupils’ small steps of achievement
- Work across East and West school sites

Requirements:

- NVQ3 or equivalent qualification
- Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
- Robust leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of a range of special needs useful
- Willingness to complete safeguarding and child protection screening
