As a Self Checkout Attendant, you will support a positive shopping experience in Walmart Canada’s self service checkout area. You will assist customers, monitor activity, complete required checks, and explain interventions clearly. The position also includes maintaining area standards and supporting company sponsored programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers using self checkout quickly and confidently
- Monitor activity and complete required self checkout checks
- Maintain a clean, protected, organized checkout area
- Respond to EAS alarms following established procedures
- Return Scan & Go scanners to designated storage locations
Requirements:
- Must be 16 or older
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend and lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
