Monitor vegetable crop growth for Nortera across southwestern Ontario, using agricultural knowledge, technology, and strong field communication skills. This full time seasonal assignment runs from May through September 2027.

As an Agricultural Crop Scout, you will assess pea, sweet corn, snap bean, and lima bean crops. The work includes identifying growth stages, supporting pre-harvest sampling, and detecting weeds, diseases, and insects. You will travel across Essex, Kent, Middlesex, Elgin, and Oxford counties.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify growth stages across assigned vegetable crops
- Monitor pea, sweet corn, snap bean, and lima bean crops
- Aid pre-harvest sample collection for vegetable crops
- Identify in-field weed, disease, and insect pressure
- Travel across five southwestern Ontario counties

Requirements:

- Post-secondary agricultural education enrollment
- Proficiency using technology
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- G license and clean driving abstract
- Availability for weekends and extended hours
