Support flexographic printing operations at C-P Adaptable Packaging’s Aurora plant through press setup, ink handling, and material movement. Rotating shifts are required.
As a Press Helper, you will assist press operators with setup and operation across a 24/5 manufacturing operation. Your work supports efficient production, high-quality output, and smooth pressroom workflow. The role includes managing inks, moving materials, and following job dockets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist press operators with press setup and operations
- Wash ink units and transport ink pails safely
- Move raw materials to unwind and printed material from rewind
- Remove, recycle, or dispose of waste from print rolls
- Remove cylinders and anilox rollers using proper techniques
Requirements:
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Ability to follow written instructions and job dockets
- Basic writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently within established procedures
- Ability to work rotating shifts every two weeks
