Operate cranes, magnets, and rigging as a Steel Processing Labourer in Lively, Ontario. Work onsite on rotating day and afternoon shifts.

Weir seeks a full-time Production Team Member focused on steel processing. You will support cutting-table efficiency through loading, unloading, strapping, grinding, labeling, packaging, and demagnetizing plates. The work also involves hand tools, grinders, torches, electrical pallet jacks, inventory tracking, and housekeeping. A robust safety mindset and situational awareness are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Load and unload plates using cranes, magnets, and rigging
- Perform strapping, grinding, labeling, packaging, and demagnetizing
- Maintain clean work areas, machines, tools, and equipment




- Assist the steel coordinator with parts staging and organization
- Track department parts and inventory while supporting workflow

Requirements:

- Crane operation or equivalent rigging and magnet experience
- Strong safety mindset supporting zero-harm behaviors
- Self-motivated approach with excellent situational awareness
- Proficiency with hand tools, grinders, torches, and pallet jacks
- Manufacturing inventory or parts-tracking experience is an asset
