The LPN in the Neuromodulation department will support patients undergoing Electro-convulsive therapies, repetitive Trans Cranial Magnetic Stimulation, or Ketamine therapies for drug resistant depression. This rapid-paced, ambulatory department supports mental health patients by offering interventional procedures to both in- and outpatients. The successful candidate will be expected to provide education and support to the patient. The LPN has a role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion and maintenance. Will provide safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS. Will be expected to assist in the pre-treatment evaluation of all patients as per professional nursing standards, hospital and program policies and procedures and in accordance with all legal and ethical standards. Expected to provide emergency interventions as required. Expected to have familiarity with psychiatric disorders that would require ECT, TMS or IV ketamine.
