Serve residents at Extendicare Kirkland Lake as a part-time Dietary Aide, supporting meal service, food temperatures, and individual dietary preferences.

As part of the culinary team, you will plate and serve meals while cleaning serving areas and equipment. The work includes preparing straightforward foods, operating dishwashers, and maintaining dietary supplies. You will follow established procedures for quality assurance, safety, fire prevention, environmental practices, and infection control.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve meals according to residents’ diets and preferences
- Maintain proper food temperatures and meal serving times
- Prepare salads, vegetables, fruits, desserts, and garnishes
- Clear trays, operate dishwashers,



and clean cooking utensils
- Store supplies, assemble nourishment carts, and stock kitchenettes

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or higher academic certification
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to follow simple verbal and written instructions
- Ability to stand and perform moderate to heavy lifting
- Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
