As part of the organization's leadership team, the CONTROLLER is responsible for the accounting practices and maintenance of fiscal/accounting records and reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Establishes policies, procedures and programs to ensure effective accounting systemsMonitors preparation of statistical reports and financial statementsCoordination of external financial and regulatory auditsCollaborates with other members of management on financial and budgetary mattersAssist with the implementation of internal controlsOversee and monitor federal, state and local complianceThe successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldFive (5) years as a Controller or equivalent, ready for advancementCPA License or licensing in-process preferredSolid understand GAAPHealth care industry experienceMedium to advanced understanding of Microsoft ExcelGood communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and motivate staff to achieve desired end results.#J-18808-Ljbffr
