Operate roll-off trucks safely for GFL while delivering efficient waste removal and qualified customer service across multiple business lines.
As a Roll-Off Driver, you will collect waste from customer sites and transport it to post-collection facilities for proper disposal. The position requires Class 1 Commercial Driver's License credentials, commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate, and safe equipment operation. Your work supports GFL's safety, efficiency, and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate roll-off trucks and ancillary equipment for waste collection
- Complete daily inspections, reports, route sheets, and documentation
- Transport collected waste to post-collection facilities for proper disposal
- Report mechanical problems, hazards, accidents,
and incidents promptly
- Maintain route quality, accurate service records, and vehicle cleanliness
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver's License
- One year commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate
- High school diploma or general education degree desired
- Ability to meet safety-sensitive function criteria
- Ability to safely drive trucks and operate equipment
