The Opportunity Canadian Natural is seeking a well‑rounded intermediate to senior Thermal Geologist with strong technical and communication skills to join our Thermal Exploration team. This role offers the chance to support active operations and future development by delivering high‑quality, integrated geological interpretations across our thermal bitumen assets. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate, optimize, and progress SAGD, CSS, and steam flood opportunities within Canadian Natural’s Thermal portfolio, including Mc Murray and Clearwater assets. and Engineers to build and maintain 3 D geological models that support thermal development planningSupport the planning and execution of horizontal well drilling programs, including thermal producer and injector well pairs, stratigraphic wells, and observation wellsIntegrate geological interpretations with production and surveillance data to optimize existing thermal wells and identify optimization and workover opportunitiesWhat You Bring To The Role 4+ years of Canadian petroleum geology experience with a Bachelor of Science in Geology (an advanced degree (M. Sc. or Ph.
