This machinist sets up and operates Swiss-type CNC lathes, adjusts programs and offsets, and inspects parts throughout production. The work requires blueprint interpretation, GD&T; knowledge, and precision measurement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate Swiss-type CNC lathes
- Select tools, guide bushings, collets, fixtures, and indicators
- Load, modify, and change machining programs
- Adjust cutting tools, inserts, offsets, feeds, and speeds
- Measure, inspect, deburr, and prepare machined parts

Requirements:

- Five or more years operating CNC Swiss-type lathes
- Fanuc and Mitsubishi Swiss-type controls experience
- Blueprint, engineering drawing, and GD&T; interpretation skills
- Precision measuring instrument experience
- Solid mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and attention to detail
