They’re coming off a record year for growth, the structure is very flat, and they hire for the long term rather than project to project.You’d work across mining, power, renewables and other markets, so you’ll collaborate with teams throughout the business rather than sitting in one silo.They’re a technical bunch and set the bar high. You’ll stay billable while also helping to win work and develop the junior engineers.ResponsibilitiesLeading civil design on mining and power projects, from concept and detailed design through to construction supportActing as Technical Lead or Engineer of Record on selected projectsOverseeing site infrastructure design, including earthworks, drainage, water management, haul roads and mine facilitiesPreparing and reviewing reports, drawings and specifications,



with a focus on quality, code compliance and constructabilityManaging scope, budget and schedule, and coordinating with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teamsSupporting business development through proposals, scoping, cost estimates and client presentationsMentoring junior engineers and helping the team developQualificationsCivil engineering degree and P. Eng. with EGBC, or eligible for registration in BC20 years or more in civil engineering, with substantial mining project experienceProven design experience across earthworks, water management, drainage and roadsExperience as Technical Lead, Project Engineer or EOR on complex projectsStrong knowledge of Canadian codes, standards and regulatory frameworksA track record in project management, business development and client engagementAuto CAD and Civil 3 DStrong site experience and happy to split time between office and fieldDam safety, tailings, hydraulic structures or hydro experience is a real bonusWhat’s on OfferSalaries benchmarked above market, with yearly reviewsAnnual bonus paid every year37.5 hour week, with a time
