Prepare therapeutic meals and serve residents or patients as a Dietary Aide in an assisted living or medical facility. Apply safe food handling and sanitation practices daily.

As a Dietary Aide, you will support meal service from basic preparation through dining-area cleanup. You will take patient meal selections, monitor service areas, and restock supplies. The work also includes following portion standards, cleaning schedules, HACCP guidelines, and WHMIS and MSDS requirements. Previous dietary aide, hospitality, or customer service experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare basic food according to instructions and therapeutic diets
- Serve meals using established portion standards
- Take meal selections from patients
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain dining spaces




- Monitor service areas and support delegated catering functions

Requirements:

- Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
- Previous dietary aide, hospitality, or customer service experience
- Knowledge of sanitation and food safety guidelines
- Good time management, multitasking, and communication skills
- Good English and ability to work independently or collaboratively
