As Senior Counsel, you will support Canadian personal and business banking teams across the enterprise. Apply consumer protection knowledge, regulatory analysis, and strategic legal advice to enable business initiatives. Translate complex issues clearly while coordinating legal input across jurisdictions and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide risk-calibrated advice supporting business strategy and legal risk management
- Lead legal advice for significant product development initiatives
- Assess federal and provincial regulatory changes affecting products




- Draft and review customer-facing agreements and communications
- Support customer issue resolution, investigations, and regulatory relationships

Requirements:

- J.D. or LL.B. professional certification required
- Licensed to practice law in Ontario
- Seven or more years of relevant experience
- Quebec Civil law degree and Quebec licensing are assets
- French communication and consumer protection knowledge are assets
