Lead major-gift fundraising for Stella's Place in Toronto, using donor engagement and strategic relationship-building skills in a hybrid senior leadership role.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Director, Major Gifts, leads strategies generating transformational philanthropic support. The role manages major-gift donors and prospects, including individuals and foundations. It also guides development staff, volunteers, and community partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop major-gift strategies across identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
- Manage a portfolio of 100–150 major-gift prospects
- Lead complex solicitations involving securities, grants, and multi-year agreements
- Prepare tailored proposals, presentations, briefings,



and gift agreements
- Manage direct reports through strategy, goals, and execution

Requirements:

- Five-plus years of progressive fundraising experience
- Track record closing five- and six-figure gifts
- Ability to structure complex financial gifts
- Experience managing direct-report relationships
- Robust writing, presentation, organization, and analytical skills
