Minted Search Group is partnering with a Toronto-based real estate private equity firm to hire a Tax Director. You'll be the go-to tax person for a growing real estate investment platform, reporting directly to the CFO. You'll own corporate and partnership tax compliance across a multi-entity structure of GPs, LPs and holding companies. You'll also take on real planning work with established external advisors support the complex files. Prepare, file and coordinate T2 corporate and T5013 partnership returns Research tax issues and bring management a clear recommendation Support planning work: Manage tax estimates and instalments across multiple fiscal year-ends Support investor tax reporting and respond to investor requests 7+ years of Canadian tax experience, in public practice or industry Robust working knowledge of corporate and partnership tax (T2, T5013, T5, NR4) Good understanding of HST/GST, ideally in real estate In-Depth Tax Course completed or in progress is a strong asset Real estate, private equity or asset management experience is an asset #
