Position Overview:We currently have an exciting opportunity for a junior water scientist, commencing in April 2026. This position will report to theSenior Water Specialist, and provide assistance to the Workplace, Lands and Permitting and Underground Technical Services teams. The position includes a blend of field and office work and will provide exposure to wide variety of mining and environmental projects.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect water samples, record and compile seepage information, and contribute to water management for the underground mine; Track and monitor the underground water balance and the site wide water balance; Compile data and prepare charts and memos to provide input to water management activities; Supporthydrogeological investigations and water-related risk management teams; Support surfacewaterand groundwater monitoring activitiesand associated data management; Contribute to the companies environmental,



social and governance team; Project coordination and contractor management; This isasafety sensitive role and willact as the representative for the environment team in the underground mine; andOther duties as required.QualificationsA degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental/Mining Engineering; Registered, or eligible for registration as a professional in training(GIT, EIT, P.Ag among others may be acceptable); 1-3years of experience relevant to the key responsibilities, with a preference to underground mining experience; Microsoft Officeand data managementskills; andClass 5 Driver's License and access to personal transportation.Preference will be given to those with:Experience in the mining sector or water management in other sectors; Organization and analysis of monitoring data; andTechnical writing, presentation andreport compilation.Other RequirementsCandidates will be required to participate in a comprehensive qualification process, including:Successful completion of pre-placement functional screenProvide proof of a valid Class 5 driver's licenseDemonstrate eligibility to work in CanadaProvide confirmation of valid educational requirements
