Assemble electrical units and switchgear at Powell’s Electrical Division Edmonton location while following drawings, instructions, and safety practices. Work the weekend shift from Friday through Sunday.

The Mechanical Assembler reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor in the Switchgear Assembly department. You will build mechanical components, assemble Powell products, and repair identified discrepancies. The work requires quality awareness, organized work areas, and adherence to manufacturing policies and ISO requirements. This permanent position requires legal authorization to work in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build mechanical components for Switchgear units
- Assemble units according to drawings and instructions




- Repair identified Switchgear discrepancies
- Promote safety and attend safety meetings
- Maintain quality and organized work areas

Requirements:

- High School Diploma required
- Zero to three years manufacturing experience
- Ability to read tape measures and conversions
- Basic knowledge of machines and tools
- Basic written and verbal English command
