About the role

Intact Financial is hiring a full-time Associate, Sales and Customer Service for its belairdirect team in Laval, Quebec. This is a hybrid position based at 600 Rue Lucien-Paiement, with a starting date of January 18, 2027.

You will advise home and auto insurance customers, answer questions about products, assess customer needs, and help them choose suitable coverage and solutions. The role also contributes to new initiatives and their implementation.

Schedule and training

Training lasts three months. For the first two months, the schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for 35 hours per week. During the final month, the schedule is Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., for 40 hours per week.

After training, the schedule is Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., plus every fourth Saturday on a rotating basis. An evening-shift premium is provided.



This is an inbound call-centre position and may include occasional statutory holidays.

Qualifications

- At least one year of experience in a similar position.
- Robust communication, listening, and customer-advising skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and use multiple computer systems.
- Willingness to complete the provincial exam required to obtain an insurance licence.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.

In Quebec, candidates must meet one of the stated education or work-experience requirements to enter the AMF licensing training program. Intact provides mentorship and training.

Compensation

Salary range: $47,100–$57,500 per year, based on a 35-hour workweek. The role also includes a 5% annual bonus target, subject to personal and company performance.
