Build AI-powered tools with Python, SQL, and Azure AI as a Dayforce intern supporting automation and product improvements. Work directly with Application Advisory teams and stakeholders.

As an AI App and Tool Development Intern, you will design, prototype, and improve internal applications. You will identify high-friction workflows, translate business needs into technical solutions, and measure results. Projects may include release smoke-testing automation, RAG solutions, agentic workflows, and connected Dayforce integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and enhance internal Application Advisory tools
- Identify workflows improved through software, AI, or automation
- Develop backend services using Python, SQL, APIs, and Azure
- Build user experiences with JavaScript and React




- Measure adoption, hours saved, coverage, and quality improvements

Requirements:

- Enrollment in a relevant technical bachelor's or master's program
- Intermediate Python skills, including APIs and independent debugging
- Intermediate SQL skills, including joins and query optimization
- Working JavaScript knowledge; React experience is a strong plus
- Understanding of LLM fundamentals and prompt design
