proper pruning and small removal skills, and proper rigging skillsAssist with driving, backing, dumping and parking duties as requiredLearn, understand, and adhere to all safety rules and company safety policies and participate in safety training sessionsMaintain assigned company gear and equipmentDemonstrate strong communication skills with crew members and crew leaderResponsible for carrying out other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader or designated supervisor, Arborist Representative, or Local ManagerQualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience climbing with arborist approved climbing system and bucket operation in the tree care industry.Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record (MVR).Secondary school requiredFormal training or qualifications in chainsaw maintenance and cutting, aerial cutting using chainsaw and felling and processing trees requiredDegree or Diploma in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, Environmental Science or a related field is preferred but not required.Proficient in English languageJob location 3081 Norland Avenue, Burnaby BC V5B 1L5Travel around Metro Vancouver may be required as part of this role.Number of positions: 3for more information email [email protected] F.
